Dr. David Roberts, an esteemed member of the Optima Dentistry and Orthodontics team, specializes in wisdom teeth removal. He ensures a smooth and comfortable experience for patients by offering sedation in the convenience of their familiar office setting. His mission is to deliver exceptional surgical care adhering to the highest professional standards, in an environment that is both comfortable and familiar to each patient. Dr. Roberts earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois Dental School. He completed a two-year post-graduate dental residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in July 1987. During this time, he received extensive training in wisdom teeth removal (3rd molars), oral surgery, dental implants, and IV sedation. Dr. Roberts has been practicing dentistry in Dallas since 1987 and was honored as the “Young Dentist of the Year” in 1990 by Dallas County. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Dentistry (FAAHD) and served on the Dallas County Dental Society Board of Directors from 1992 to 1996. Currently, he is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and lectures nationally on general dental surgery.

Dr. Behnam Eslami is a highly skilled dentist with more than 20 years of experience in treating patients. After completing his dental school (DDS) in 1992 and his specialty (MS) in 1995 in Iran, he came to Harvard University, the top-ranked university in the USA, to receive four additional years for his doctoral degree (DMSc) and his specialty in Oral Pathology. Dr. Eslami has published a dozen articles in dentistry and pathology and has given many speeches nationally and internationally. He achieved several prestigious awards including the Cawson Award from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, the James H. Shaw Award, and the Advanced Graduate Presidential Scholar from Harvard University. Dr. Eslami is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
